The 2026 Zeekr X is getting an update that could make it a more attractive option for Australian buyers. With a 50kW power boost, the electric SUV now offers a 250kW single-motor rear-wheel drive and 365kW dual-motor all-wheel drive. This increase in power means the X RWD can still sprint from 0-100km/h in 5.6 seconds, while the AWD version is now slightly quicker at 3.69 seconds. The torque figures have also increased by 30Nm, with the rear-drive variant now producing 373Nm and the all-wheel drive version delivering 573Nm. The updated model features a new Seattle Green exterior finish and black, black and white, and black and orange interior colorways, along with a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system running Zeekr's latest operating system (5.5). Despite the update, the Zeekr X still faces competition from its larger sibling, the 7X, which outsold it by almost two-to-one last year. The X's sales were further impacted by its Volvo EX30 cousin, which beat it by a similar margin. The Zeekr X and the 009 electric people mover were Zeekr's debut models in Australia, and the brand falls under the Geely umbrella, alongside Volvo, Polestar, and Smart. The 2026 update is a significant step forward for the Zeekr X, offering improved performance and a refreshed design. With the power boost and updated features, it's a compelling option for those seeking a premium electric SUV.
