Ashton Torgerson joins forces with Three Stooges Racing to complete his rookie World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink (https://www.drinknos.com/en-us/) Sprint Car Series season, marking the beginning of a campaign aimed at competing at the highest level of motorsports. This year, Torgerson, a 19-year-old driver, began the season aboard Shark Racing No. 1A, where he earned four top 10s including a runner-up at Volusia Speedway Park. Despite opting to park the car for an unspecified time, he found success through Moody Motorsports at Williams Grove Speedway, where he finished eighth in the HVAC Distributors Morgan Cup finale. His debut at Three Stooges Racing No. 51 opened after the team split with Scott Bogucki, who led the pairing to podium finishes. Torgerson expressed gratitude for the opportunity provided by Bobby and Jacob, stating they gave him a chance to compete in Sprint Cars after gaining experience in Midgets and Micros. He credits Kyle Moody and Moody Motorsports for supporting him during the weekend. With the Three Stooges Racing team set to compete at Eldora Speedway on May 15-16, Torgerson aims to continue his journey as a top contender. The event will also feature live broadcasts on DIRTVision. As the 2026 season approaches, Torgerson looks forward to competing at higher levels, aiming to secure the Kevin Gobrecht Rookie of the Year award presented by Five Star Bodies.
