A poignant chapter is closing for a beloved furniture retailer in the Pacific Northwest, as it prepares to shut down operations after nearly four decades of service. Kasala Modern Home Furnishings, a small but well-known chain, is officially closing all three of its stores located in Bellevue, Seattle, and Tukwila. The Tukwila location has already ceased operations as of Saturday, while the Bellevue and Seattle showrooms remain open for what they are calling a "going out of business sale." In fact, Kasala aims to liquidate its remaining inventory, which is valued at about $5 million, selling everything until there’s nothing left but the walls. Greg Wolf, who has served as CEO since 2012, has overseen the company through much of its recent history.
In a heartfelt message posted on their Facebook page, the team at Kasala expressed their gratitude to customers, stating, "With gratitude and heavy hearts, our final sale begins. Thank you for 39 years of support." This sentiment reflects the deep connections the store has built with the community over the years.
